Press release from the City of Orlando: October 11, 2021 Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 City Commissioner Tony Ortiz Host 15th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration Event  Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 City Commissioner Tony Ortiz Host 15th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration Event  WHAT:   On October 12, 2021, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and District 2 City Commissioner Tony Ortiz will host the 15th annual City of Orlando's Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration event to celebrate the Hispanic/Latino culture and contributions to the local community and nation.   The theme of this year's Hispanic Heritage Month is "Esperanza: A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage and Hope." This theme invites residents to celebrate the community's diversity and reflect on how great residents can make the future through resilience and hope.   The theme of this year's Hispanic Heritage Month is "Esperanza: A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage and Hope."
