the Canfield Consortium has partnered with Wayne State's MPA program have begun a project in the East Canfield Village, the Canfield Connect Located in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A, the Canfield Consortium has partnered with Wayne State MPA Program to start a project in the neighborhood of East Canfield Village. This Canfield Connect project, when completed, will connect the neighborhood to Brewer Park by using vacant lots to provide a walking path throughout the community. On October 16 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the project will be looking for volunteers to help clear the first two vacant lots that will start this walkway in 2-3 hour shifts. Refreshments will be provided. *Masks strongly recommended* The address is 4531 Montclair, Detroit, MI 48214, right across from Brewer Park. The Canfield Connect project is funded by the Ford College Community Challenge. *In case of weather delays, the event will be moved to Oct. 23rd at the same time.
