Company Description: We are an established Wood office furniture manufacturer company that offers our customers factory direct delivery and installations services. We have two decades worth of experience in furniture installations throughout the Bay Area, California and lower 48 states. We are located in the East Bay. We are looking for qualified experienced office furniture installers to add to our team ASAP. Job Description & Requirements - YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1-2 YEARS EXPERIENCE SPECIFICALLY WITH OFFICE FURNITURE INSTALLATION - THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. Do not send resumes if you do not at least meet this qualification. We will not consider anyone who doesn't at least meet this requirement. - Must be Customer Service driven - Installer must be able to deliver, stage, knockdown and install a variety of office furniture (example: private offices, reception station, conference tables, wall mount cabinets, shelving, filing cabinets, etc. free standing for the most part) using hand and power tools. - Must be able to perform in the field cut outs as needed. (example: square or rectangular electrical access cut outs, cut out for sink applications, notch finished worksurfaces to and around columns, cut, trim, and scribe filler pieces, etc.) - Installer must be able to read, follow and understand floor plans and furniture schematics. - Installer must be able to securely package/load up office furniture for transportation, and to load and unload office furniture to and from our plant. - Installer must have a valid California's driver's license (class C) and a clean DMV record (we will check). - Installer must have experience driving Truck (16+ feet) and van. Daily operating of 24’ Bobtail trucks to and from job sites. - Installer must have your own work tools that are standard for this type of work (drills, hammer, screwdrivers, wrenches, drill bits, various power saws, tape measure, etc.). - Installer must have full range of unimpeded motion (bending, stretching, twisting), be in good health, be able to stand for long periods of time, and be able to comfortably lift 80 lbs. - Installer must be dependable, punctual, customer service driven, take direction well, be courteous (especially under pressure), be a problem solver, be mechanically inclined, and be a team player. -Installer must be able to proficiently read, write in, and speak English. - Again, must be Customer Service driven Bonus Skills These are not a requirement of the job, but will weigh heavily in your favor if you have these skills as well: - Able to perform touch up and repairs on various wood species - - Basic furniture construction skills - Forklift experience - Bi-lingual (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese) Job Type: Full-time
