On Site Staff Martin Court Apartments Unique opportunity to work and live in the same place! Must income qualify. This lovely one bedroom comes at $50/mo with a full time job as an on-site staff with an hourly rate of $16.74-17.75. This position is to service as property maintenance, on-call and light janitorial duties. Hours are Fridays to Tuesdays 11AM-7PM. This is a live in position, must reside on-site. Other units are at market rate* LOCATION: 6188 4th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98108 (Please do not stop by unannounced) BENEFITS: Medical, dental, vision, retirement, long term disability, vacation & sick leave POSITION: Non-exempt. Responsibilities: Perform and schedule routine maintenance and janitorial of common areas, grounds maintenance, garbage removal, weeding, replacing locks and light bulbs, performing minor carpentry and painting. Respond to emergencies on site, being on-call with pager and performing nightly grounds checks. Respond to residents’ concerns and questions regarding the building. Inspect the building’s interior and exterior regularly. Inspect units annually; at time of turnover or as directed. Maintain an inventory of basic maintenance supplies. Prepare vacant units including light maintenance, cleaning, and coordinating with vendors for re-rental in a timely manner. Reside at the site in a designated apartment. Learn and monitor security camera system. Part Time security including monitoring building activities and monitoring the parking lot area. Calling 911 in emergencies and documentation of any incidents. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Two years building maintenance experience. General facility maintenance knowledge. Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Experience working in a diverse environment. Great written and communication skills. Willing to make a one-year commitment. Must pass background check and drug screening test.
