CAPE MAY COUNTY, NJ — The coronavirus continues to have an impact on Cape May County (see-town-by-town data below).
According to the Cape May County Department of Health, there were 415 active cases in the county on Friday, up from the 400 reported the previous week on Oct. 1.
Officials continue to monitor the delta variant, which accounted for more than 99 percent of coronavirus cases in New Jersey over the last four-weeks, according to data provided by the state department of health.
Cape May County has "moderate" COVID activity, according to New Jersey's latest weekly report. The determination is based on metrics such as case rate, positivity rate and prevalence of COVID-like illnesses.
Cape May County officials provided the following breakdown of active cases by town, with active case totals from Oct. 1 in parentheses:

The Cape May County Department of Health is open every Wednesday from 1 to 6 p.m. for vaccinations at 6 Moore Rd.
