We are a small freight forwarding business in Miami conducting since 1998. We are recruiting an Export Logistics Specialist to join our team.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years’ experience in transportation and logistics with knowledge of US Customs export regulations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and logistics software (Magaya)
- Excellent writing and customer service skills
- Preferable knowledge of Dangerous Goods documentation
- Knowledgeable of TSA regulations/training
Responsibilities:
- Generate export shipments (air and ocean) including bill of ladings, AES filings, air ways bills, bookings and all related procedures
- Efficient handling of urgent shipments
- Prepare price quotations on outbound air/ocean freight
- Arrange transportation including obtaining quotes for domestic LTL and FTL shipments
- Order fulfillment duties required warehouse work and supervision
