AUSTIN, TX — Austin police are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect who police say robbed a bank in South Austin on Friday.
The suspect is identified as a man in his early to mid 20's, about 5-foot eight to 5-foot ten, has medium length hair with fades on the sides and was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeve Nike shirt, black Nike shorts, black Nikes shoes and a white Nike hat. He was also holding a gray and white backpack, officials said.
Police said they received a 911 call around 10:25 a.m. Friday at the Regions Bank at 11215 Interstate Highway 35 for a robbery.

Authorities said the man entered the bank, approached the counter and threatened the teller. The bank teller then gave the suspect cash before he ran away. The man was last seen walking northbound on the frontage road of South I-35.
