AUSTIN, TX — Austin police are seeking the public's help to identify a suspect who police say robbed a bank in South Austin on Friday. The suspect is identified as a man in his early to mid 20's, about 5-foot eight to 5-foot ten, has medium length hair with fades on the sides and was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeve Nike shirt, black Nike shorts, black Nikes shoes and a white Nike hat. He was also holding a gray and white backpack, officials said. Police said they received a 911 call around 10:25 a.m. Friday at the Regions Bank at 11215 Interstate Highway 35 for a robbery. The bank teller then gave the suspect cash before he ran away. The man was last seen walking northbound on the frontage road of South I-35.
