Key Largo Adventures and Aquablue Adventures - Great $$ and EASY Sandbar, snorkel, or sightsee/sunset charters in Islamorada. Looking for 2 Part time 6-pack Freelance Captains who can work a minimum of 2-3 assigned days per week, we prefer Friday-Sunday and/or Saturday-Monday each week, PLUS holiday periods (not necessarily holiday days). And You have the option to work charters on your unscheduled days to make more $$, if desired. Details about the boats and charters are at the bottom of the Pay/Bonus description below. Include types of boats and types of charters or industry. LOCALS preferred, but lodging may be available to those who need it. GREAT PAY plus BONUSES available for consistently great service (to customers and the company). We need reliable, courteous, motivated Captains to join our team. For those who can also CONSITENTLY be flexible and want extra hours will make EXTRA $$ in bonuses outlined below: - Minimum hours PAY BONUS - We pay a bonus of $30 just to start your day and pay a guaranteed 4 trip-hours at $120 (whether its a 3 or 4-hour trip/charter), just to get you off the couch :). After the first 4 hours, we pay $30 per trip-hour, plus tips and bonuses below. Typical days include 3 to 8 trip-hours plus appx 30 min prep/cleanup (including the trip-hour payment). - GUARANTEED On-Call PAY on days when you are assigned but are not booked - Aquablue pays an "On-call bonus" at $50/day, if you do NOT get booked on your assigned day. Also, you are "off-call" by 2:30pm to enjoy the rest of your day. - Great TIPS ARE ALL Yours (or shared with your mate, if required for some charters) - Captains average $100 per each easy 3 or 4 hour charters... this adds up when you work 2 charters per day!!! Generally, no mate is required. - LAST MINUTE charter BONUS - For last-minute, same-day bookings on your UN-assigned days, Aquablue offers a bonus of $50... this offer is available when you are also consistently working your assigned dates. - GREAT-SERVICE BONUS - $50 each time you are named in a 5-star customer review. Remains valid as long as your charters remain 5-star online. - HOLIDAY BONUS - Working on Dates surrounding Holidays, not holidays themselves, are required (excludes Thanksgiving day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Day). We pay $50 extra Holiday Bonus per charter for Dates surrounding holidays. Working on actual holidays listed above is optional, with bonus, of course. - EXTRA HOURS/trips on UnAssigned dates are optional and likely available if you want to work. Sunset charter after your other job may work into your schedule, if you want them. These are not considered eligible for the "Last Minute" bonus or "Guaranteed On-Call" pay, as you would volunteer to be on the schedule when you can be flexible, - MECHANIC/MAINTENANCE Opportunities to make more $ for basic maintenance/repair/cleaning (boat/engine) and loading/unloading boats at the ramp helps us keep the boats running (and helps you run CHARTERS!). We pay $60/hour to our captains who can help with these basic services... and more $ for professional mechanics/Yamaha or Suzuki certified. Part-time Captains Wanted now with Full Time opportunities starting March 15. Current USCG 6 pack license and clean criminal record are required. Needed immediately for small private boat charters! Multiple options for a couple of great, personable captains. Bonus (not a requirement): If you also have access to your own commercially registered 20' minimum, good condition, well maintained (required, seating for 6 passengers plus captain), this means extra cash for you... Boats are 21 ft to 26 ft boats (3-6 hours per trip) - Maximum 2 trips per day. Make guests happy, set them up at The Islamorada Sandbar, and relax enjoy the afternoon until time to go home. We also have 3-hour sightsee, sunset, or snorkeling trips, but this is not our primary business.
