Here are the top stories in Indianapolis today: A person was killed in a shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis on Monday. Police were called to the 3800 block of North Grand Ave. at around 1 p.m., where they found a person shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and the shooting is being investigated. (WISHTV.com)Police are looking for an Indianapolis man that failed to register as a sex offender. According to Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana, 40-year-old Joel Sterrett is wanted in Marion County for failure to register as a sex offender, possession of child pornography with an aggravating factor found, and driving while suspended with a prior conviction. Sterrett is a 5'5″ tall white male and weighs approximately 190 pounds.
