Job Summary: The University of Colorado Boulder is searching for a Custodian! This work unit exists to clean the facilities and otherwise provide a safe and healthy environment for staff and patients at Wardenburg Health Center. This position exists to provide custodial services for Wardenburg Health Center by cleaning and disinfecting doctor's offices, common areas, and public restrooms, by sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, by reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor, by opening and locking doors in the building, and by completing a variety of custodial task as they arise. We provide a comprehensive range of health care services in several on-campus locations. The Wardenburg Medical Clinic provides services for students including, but not limited to: treatment of illnesses and injuries, as well as chronic conditions, physicals, sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, allergy shots, vaccinations, travel health care, and concussion care. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be: Clean and disinfect Wardenburg Health Center facilities including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, halls, windows, mirrors telephones, water fountains, and trash containers, in such areas as doctor's offices, restrooms, waiting areas, front desk and physical therapy. Complete a variety of jobs as they arise, such as cleaning and disinfecting, replacing Bulbs, paper, soap and delivering linens. Stairs, open and close the building. Sweep, Mop and vacuum stairways. Strip, buff and wax floors. Shampoo all carpet floors at least twice a year or as needed including office chairs. Complete all other duties as assigned. What You Should Know: This position's shift will be from 4:00 pm - 12:30 am. This is not a remote position. This full-time position is eligible for the following benefits: EcoPass for free RTD rides.
