NORRISTOWN, PA — For the first time in months, Montgomery County saw improvement in three of its key COVID-19 metrics last week. It's another encouraging sign even as the cooler weather approaches, and the vaccination rate continues to rise. The three metrics that saw improvement were seven day average of total cases, 14 day average of total cases, and 14 day average percent positivity rate on tests. All three have not improved simultaneously since early in the summer. >>COVID-19 Outlook Optimistic In PA As Fall Arrives: Health Experts "While these numbers are still higher than we'd like to see, the improvement is encouraging," Montgomery County Commissioner Val Arkoosh said.
