Following the Pledge of Allegiance, the Millbrae City Council presented a proclamation proclaiming the month of October 2021 as Fire Prevention Month.
The City Council received an annual report presentation from Central County Fire Department Chief Bruce Barron.
The City Council received a donation for the Millbrae Recreation Center from the Millbrae Culture Committee.
The City Council presented a commendation to Public Works Water Lead Worker II Jack Diaz on his retirement.
Millbrae City Manager Tom Williams announced the 2021 Employee Performance Award winners.
Item 5 – The City Council received and filed Monthly General Fund Financial Report for the period ending August 31, 2021.
The City Council unanimously approved, on a vote of 5-0, items 6 and 7 on the consent calendar.
Item 6 – Waive second reading and adopt ordinance amending Sections 1.05.020 and 1.05.030 of Chapter 1.05 and Section 6.25.070 of Chapter 6.25 of the Millbrae Municipal Code related to Code Citations and Nuisance Abatement Notices.
