CLEVELAND — A Cleveland man has been found guilty of trying to distribute cocaine and heroin. Lawrence Dunbar, 28, from Cleveland, was found guilty on Friday of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, and possession with the intent to distribute carfentanil,cocaine and heroin, the Department of Justice announced. He will be sentenced in January. In July 2019, the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force raided an apartment building in Cleveland. They were executing a warrant and looking for Dunbar, according to court documents. Live in Cleveland? The 28-year-old had violated his parole and was now wanted for felonious assault, the documents said. Dunbar was detained in his apartment and officers then searched his home, finding a bag of heroin, a gun under the couch and other suspected narcotics, court documents said. Dunbar had previously been convicted of drug trafficking, drug possession, attempted felonious assault and more, the Department of Justice said.
