DOUGLAS COUNTY, GA — Families in Douglas County can now register for the seventh annual Operation Christmas. Operation Christmas allows children enrolled in school in Douglas County and their younger siblings to get a free Christmas gift through the generosity of others. To qualify, children must reside in Douglas County, be age 18 or younger, be enrolled in school in the county and receive free or reduced-price lunch, WIC or other services from the health department or educational system due to financial hardship. To register, visit The Elf Squad's website to complete the registration form, available in both English and Spanish. If you've registered in the past, use your same login to view, check and edit your information. The Operation Christmas 2021 gift delivery is scheduled for Dec. 11.
