Here are the top stories in Phoenix today: After two missing Phoenix girls were found and cared for by a local Good Samaritan, their mother, Ashleigh Williams, has been arrested on two counts of child abuse. The 3- and 4-year-old girls went missing from an apartment near 16th Avenue and Missouri on Saturday night and Williams reported them missing early the next morning. A woman found them on Sunday afternoon and kept them safe until they could be brought to the Phoenix Department of Child Services. (FOX 10 News Phoenix) Aileron Apartments has officially purchased a 10-acre multi-family development site in Phoenix for $9 million. The land is located at NWC Loop 101 and 7th Avenue. The seller, Berkadia Phoenix, says the site is one of the last remaining fee-owned interchange parcels in the booming North Loop 101 Corridor and is the 53rd such development sold by the company. (AZ Big Media) A woman has been arrested for allegedly shooting the suspected Circle K beer thief after he attempted to steal a case of beer Saturday afternoon in west Phoenix.
