Press release from the City of Mobile Police Department: Oct 11, 2021 On Sunday, October 10, 2021, at approximately 7:11 p.m., police officers responded to the 2900 block of Booker Street in reference to a male shot. Upon arrival, officers located 57-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.  This is an active homicide investigation.  We will release updates as information becomes available.
