We have our own trucks, all you have to do is drive! *previous box truck driving experience is preferred. *MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND NO CRIMINAL BACKGROUND. MUST BE AT LEAST 23 YEARS OLD* Our company is looking for a responsible, experienced individual to join our team! As a member of the JS3 Ventures team, you will receive orders form a centralized dispatch, retrieve parcels from our clients, and then deliver the parcels to customers in a timely and safe manner. Our ideal candidate has prior delivery or professional driving experience, a keen eye for detail, safe driving skills with a clean driving record, no criminal background, able to lift heavy items, and an ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times! May apply online at www.js3ventures.com We are looking for an experienced truck driver to serve our supply chain logistics department in a safe and timely manner. RESPONSIBILITIES - Drive a 10ft - 26ft box truck - Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants, distribution centers, or residential addresses. Parcels may weigh over 100 + (must be able to lift heavy items *dolly available) - Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance - Plan routes and meet delivery schedules - Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts - Input “macros” into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process - Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures - Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions - Collect and verify delivery instructions - Report defects, accidents or violations SKILLS - Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc) - Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly - Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations - ZERO recent moving or driving violations - Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc) - Valid drivers License This is a great opportunity for a great driver!
