JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: The Shipping Clerk will move materials safely and efficiently and load/unload trucks in a timely manner. Will rotate stock, conduct monthly inventory, and perform cross-departmental duties, as assigned. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Must be at least 18 years of age • Ability to operate a forklift and move materials safely and efficiently; a minimum of one (1) year of recent forklift experience is required. Must be able to meet company forklift certification requirements. • Ability to read. understand and follow customer orders/loading instructions. • Ability to wear personal protection equipment (PPE), as required. • This position will also help conduct monthly inventory. • Must be able to stay on the production schedule, always maintaining safe work practices. • Must effectively communicate and work cooperatively with other team members and supervisors. • Be willing and available to work overtime, including weekends.
