Wanted small to med size pomeranian puppy or young dog

Hi there! I have a friend that is looking for a small to medium size dog to join the family! They have 3 respectful, quiet kids so tons of love and very active family so lots of walks and such. They lost their 2 dogs due to old age and have been watching the shelters for MONTHS now without any luck. They are absolutely not interested in supporting a back yard breeder and paying a ridiculous amount of money for a dog. They simply want a dog to love and adore. It'll be spayed or neutered and vaccinated etc. We live in Humboldt County but I'm coming to Redding/ Red Bluff/Chico in the next few weeks so I'd love to find them a match to bring home to them! They would LOVE to find a pug, dachshund, rat terrier, fox terrier, terrier, any kind of small mix breed etc. Definitely not interested in Chihuahuas though. Puppy or young adult is fine.
