We are looking for a lady who can come to our home on a daily basis; 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) who can provide companion and housekeeping services. What we are looking for is a lady who can come approximately four (4) hours a day, from around 9:30 to 1:30. Your job will be to help our mother (who is 97) get up, get dressed and help with breakfast and lunch. She is fully cognizant, and gets around on her own with a walker. As part of your duties, you will also be expected to do household chores like, make beds, change sheets, clean the kitchen, laundry and other light housekeeping. Our mother spends a lot of time on her own and you do not have to be with her constantly, but be available when she needs something, as you do the normal housekeeping. You will be paid on an hourly basis, so if you work extra hours, you will be paid for those hours. Your hourly pay is negotiable. There are other family members who live on the property who will be available as support. We will require an interview, will also expect references that will be checked and will perform a background check. You also need to have your own transportation. There will be a trial period. We are looking for the right person to start immediately.
