Description

Essential duties include: clean lint, dust, oil and grease from floor, warehouse racking, overhead pipes, and other areas as assigned. Clean and dry floors. Operate machinery to include power pallet jacks, propane sweepers, and other equipment. Able to use a variety of tools to accomplish superficial repairs to machinery. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Transport trash and waste to disposal area. Pick up refuse from facility grounds. Safely use a variety of cleaners, chemicals, etc. to complete tasks. This position has many physical demands such as frequently having to sit, walk and stand; use hands to handle, grasp, and twist objects, tools, or controls; and use both feet for repetitive movements as in operating food controls. Must be able to hear and see within normal range with or without correct devices and lift products weighing 30 lbs. One year of prior warehouse/distribution experience. Prior experience in operating a pallet jack, floor scrubber, and sweeper preferred. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, day and evening hours, and overtime as assigned. Must be able to work under general supervision and follow safe working practices in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures.
