"Save our Democracy" is something we've heard a lot lately..... But that statement is a trick, meant to deceive. We don't have a democracy !! America is a Constitutional Republic and there's a big difference. Our Republic does employ "some" democratic components. That's why America is called "The great experiment" But we cannot be a pure 'democracy', because a pure democracy always - ALWAYS - devolves into a socialist or communist situation. Our forefathers who wrote the Constitution did it in a way that is as brilliant today as it was in the 1700's. This is one of the few countries on Earth where 'The People' are in charge. --- For now, anyway. We need to be vigilant, because the thieves and con artists are knocking at the door. Getting people to believe we live in a pure 'democracy' is one step toward communism. Don't believe their propaganda Democrats say China's economy is booming? Not really. One way to tell is 'debt to income ratio'. In America, the average price of a house is about 6 to 8 times the owner's average annual salary. In China, an average house costs 40 times the buyer's annual salary. Socialism and Communism always do very well for the 1% ruling class, while the 99% rest of the country suffers. This is why America is NOT a 'democracy'. If we were a pure democracy, the entire country would be over-ruled by a small handful of highly-populated cities and states. That's not what our founders envisioned. What they did for U. S. Citizens 250 years ago is still a smart move today.
