We are an organic microgreen farm that grows year-round and sells to supermarket and restaurant distributors. We are seeking to hire someone who can pack and mix in the cooler as well as cut in the drying room. These jobs require the following qualities:
*ability to tolerate between 45-50 degrees for several hours at a time (with breaks of course)
*ability to pay attention to minute visual details (such as minor holes in tiny leaves or dark spots on stems)
*able to work well with others as well as independently
*able to work Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thursday (sunday is a must!)
*able to get to work on time, with your own vehicle (we are not on a bus route)
*able to lift up to 50 lbs (with a strong back and arms)
*able to work at a fast pace without being supervised (this is very important! we do not micromanage)
