Description
Meet Duke. He is a treasure! When grown I expect he will be a medium to large size dog as he is possibly a Lab/Doberman mix. He is not a big barker or digger. But he does like to jump and chew! I have been training him with a spray bottle which has worked well. I put tennis balls in his food bowl to prevent him from eating too fast. He is eating nutrisouce all stages dog food - he likes all the flavors! We also mix fruits and veggies into his dinner often. Duke is good with others dogs with the right introduction. He wants to please and is doing well with potty training. He hasn’t had an accident in several weeks. He is also crate trained! It’s not his favorite thing to do but once he is in, he is quiet and relaxed. He stays in the crate while my family isn’t home. He sleeps with me at night and is so snuggly. Wakes me up like a perfect gentle man with a nice big kiss. He is very affectionate however he likes to play rough like any puppy. He has knocked over my five year old daughter a time or two but my six year old niece handles him well. So depending of the personality of your kids, he will be a great family dog. He is a typical puppy! We spend lots of time outside and he loves it. Before Duke was ready to go to a new home, he needed to recover from having a non-contagious mange. He also had worms in his stool and was covered in fleas and ticks. All this has been cared for and this little man is in need of puppy shots and neutering! There is a negotiable rehoming fee$300.
