Dixon Custom Cabinetry, LLC is now hiring for full-time positions. Dixon Custom Cabinetry, LLC is a privately-owned and operated business serving the Triad area in North Carolina since 1969. We manufacture beautiful, quality, handcrafted cabinets and built-ins. We are looking for positive, self-motivated and customer-oriented employees for a variety of positions; individuals with hands-on experience in a woodworking environment is required. We are looking for a “trainable” and reliable candidate that is positive, self-motivated and goal oriented. This individual must be very dependable and above all, your punctuality is a must. The work-day STARTS at 6 AM. You must have reliable transportation. * If you are not a “morning person” this position is probably NOT for you. The following position is now open and available for your consideration: General Woodworker – *First and foremost this candidate will be a team player, have a “can-do” attitude and is willing to learn our “Brand Specific” methods and techniques. This individual is in the pursuit of developing their skills further with a (Top Notch) company. The candidate for this position will be required to rapidly learn our methods and techniques of cabinetry production at Dixon Custom Cabinetry; this includes (but, is not limited to) milling, sanding, door cut-out, case assembly and finishing. This person will report directly to the Shop Foreman and/or Operations Manager. Our standard work week is 40 hours, but overtime hours (time-and-a-half) will occasionally be required. As previously stated, this is a morning position with a starting time of 6 am. You must be a very punctual person to be a good fit into this position. *Our normal work-week is Four (4) Ten (10) hour days. *Must have some experience and a basic working-knowledge and understanding of working with hand and power tools, in a wood-working environment.. *Skills in Crown Molding, General Molding, Face frame building, Etc is a plus. *Good customer service skills are required. *A working knowledge of the English language is required, and persons with bilingual skills (Spanish) are welcome. *Must have a valid Social Security Number and a valid/current NC driver's license. *** Dixon Custom Cabinetry, LLC is a drug-free, Equal Opportunity employer; all prospective employees will be REQUIRED to pass a drug test prior to acceptance.
