Description
I have 5 free (TO GOOD HOME) neon tetras, I estimate they’re 6 or more months old but I’m not sure.
From the pictures (sorry for the low quality, photographing fish is hard) you can tell they are in bad condition. It appears like some sort of fungal disease and one looks sort of like cotton mouth. These fish have always had problems and I’ve treated them countless times but I’ve decided that I want to rehome them.
With a heavy heart I’m letting them go because I cant keep risking them infecting my other fish and can’t deal with an entire hospital tank.
Please do not introduce these fish into a tank with any other livestock unless you’re able to treat them first, otherwise your entire tank is at risk of contamination (or at least keep this in mind).
I’m not sure if they’re curable after enduring the same things so much and being at a somewhat advanced stage, but they do behave normally and eat well aside from the obvious problems. These fish are friendly and I have never had any problem with them being aggressive or nipping my other fish.
Email or text me a picture of your cycled tank with a stickynote of either your number or email on it.
Pickup only unless you’re literally a few blocks from me and I can walk them, otherwise if you’re a good fit i’ll send you my address and put them out when you’re ready to come by. I can provide a fish bag for them but note that they shouldn’t be in there for too long since it’s not being oxygenated or temperature regulated.
If you’re looking for a challenge or a charity case, these are the fish for you! I can also send them with a little baggy of my flakes if you want.
Please reach out!! I’m desperate to keep my other fish safe.
note: they’re currently in a 55 gallon community tank but will do perfectly fine in a smaller tank.
