Description

Good Morning everyone! Not so much for us unfortunately. We had an agreement set In place a couple years back with our landlord for a small support dog for my child. The dog passed away last year and my son was absolutely heart broken. Due to covid and whatever was going on in his personal life we were unable to get ahold of our landlord and ended up rescuing a rott pup. Fast forward up until recently the landlord came by to check out the property and seen the dog. Not that we were trying to hide him in anyway. Either way he said he just absolutely under no circumstance could accept the dog at the property due to insurance reasons. With no evictions taking place it has become nearly impossible to find somewhere to rent let alone that would allow us to bring him. We also looked into possible buying options but it is just not the right time for us. Gotti is a 15 month old Rottweiler and he is such a great loving family animal. He is crate and outside trained. He sleeps in his crate every night and is great with doing so and will only stir if he needs to use the restroom! He is great with children and literally any animal! He has had great relationships with a rabbit, guinea pig, and an adult cat as well as kitten. NOW please read this part as it is most important. When we got Gotti it was during a hot covid period so he was not exposed to a lot of people outside of the family besides some neighbors etc. He does not have an aggressive bone in his body but does get anxious of new people and will be alert and bark at you until he knows you are not a threat to himself or the family. You will need to meet him and spend a few minutes with him tor him to warm up and you will immediately see how much of an amazing dog he is and fall in love. He received a few sets of shots from the original home but he does not have papers or anything. We are asking a $150 rehoming fee to ensure he goes to a good home and that includes his crate, harness, leash, and his food/water dish. Pictures provided upon request to rule out spam.
