Help! Thermcouple in RV

Water heater pilot won’t stay lit, probably needs the thermocouple changed, I have YouTubed it and watched 100 videos, seem super easy but I don’t want to blow my dogs up by chance and I have no clue what I’m doing. RV repair guy is super expensive and I’m newly separated and suddenly paying all the bills. I can buy the part and pay you just hoping someone less than the repair guy.
