We're celebrating rivers this fall, and we've asked a diverse selection of women leaders, artists, and writers to share their perspectives on this topic, against a backdrop of the RIVERS Art Exhibition currently on display at our Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville headquarters, 1610 Osceola Street.
Enjoy wine and a light refreshments while you hear from Nancy Powell, Executive DIrector of Scenic Jacksonville and leader of the Riverfront Parks Now initiative, along with artist and activist Abby Howard Murphy and several other community leaders.
Self-guided tours of the RIVERS Exhibition will be available before and after the speaker presentation. Art, journals, and anthologies will be on sale to support our continued work.
Limited spots available for safety reasons. Masks required; vaccinations preferred.
Let's continue to lift the voices of women who are making a difference in our community!
Women Writing for (a) Change Jacksonville is a growing community for Jacksonville writers. We focus primarily on women, but not exclusively. We strive to reach a diverse audience and to make our programs accessible to all, including all cultural groups, genders, and communities.
