Need a few free or cheap basses

Description

So long story short, I became disabled in January of last year and I don't qualify for disability and I can't find a home-based job to save my life. (Covid ruined that for me) Anyway, I've been thinking about teaching VERY BEGINNER bass guitar lessons with the idea that once they understand all the basics that I can pass them onto someone who is amazing to finish their education. I know how frustrating it is teaching VERY beginner people to play and thanks to my disability, I've got plenty of time to sit there and watch them play the same thing wrong, over and over again until my ears bleed. :P I'd really like to find a few free or cheap basses, working or not. I can repair anything from bad electronics, tuners, nuts, jacks, bridges, etc. The only things I can't fix are a broken truss-rod or broken neck, that's outside of my wheelhouse. If you have an old, beaten down, dragged behind your car, no strings, beater of a bass (or better) that you'd like to donate to a worthy cause, please drop me a note. I plan on offering free lessons to children under 13 and charging very reasonable rates above that. I'll even come and pick it up!
