Description
I'm asking if anyone fosters kittens or volunteers with cats can help me. In the park where I live, there is a feral mother that reliably has litters of kittens. About a year ago, I found one of her kittens when it was extremely feral but young enough that a few days would socialize it. I caught it easily, fed it, and took it to the shelter. This kitten is much older than the one that I found last time, but still young enough to be socialized. It even shows signs of having been handled before: it's extremely frightened of me, but it doesn't hiss and shows some interest. It's also a cute tortie, if you know anyone who would like a cute tortie, post-socialization. Because it's not a dumb baby, I can't just run up and throw a towel on it. I would like to capture the kitten, socialize it, and make sure it gets a home. The mother needs to be TNR'd so that she stops feeding all the animals around here with her litters.
I need someone who already has cat trap and experience catching feral cats/kittens. I can split the cost to have the mother and kitten spayed, if need be. (The kitten might be old enough to be spayed--not sure).
