This event is meant to inform you, your friends, and family about what Yonkers Seventh - Day Adventist (SDA) church is to you. You will have the opportunity to know what the church offers to our communities through our very own church leaders. The church ministries are meant to accommodate your needs and what a best way to address them than an open house in person! We hope you could support physically and spiritually as we are excited to share all that our church has to offer you. First Time Homeowner: Would this be my last? Buying a home is obviously a large financial purchase commitment. I contemplated buying a home for years because I felt unprepared to make such a real-life adult decision. I was only 27 years of age when I made my first purchase, and I can officially say that I am a homeowner now. I found the inspiration to rent my home in the next few years to Christian Students after meeting one of the best people I could ever encounter: Seventh-day Adventist. I plan on providing an Adventist Home to stray away from wordly distraction and awaken the love they have for Jesus Christ. Keeping my home complete, current, and creative, I plan on establishing common practices Adventist Christians hold today. I hope I could shape someone's life the way the Seventh-day Adventist Community has done for me.
