Description
I am fostering a 6 year old small dog who is available for rehoming, rehoming fee applies. He is very sweet, good with other dogs, met kittens and was fine with them too. He is on vetsulin insulin injections twice a day for life, this costs about $70 a month. He is on a prescription diet which costs $70 a bag. His diabetes has caused him to have cataracts, so he is mainly blind, but he does not act like it! He could be in a household with other animals, but their food cannot be left on the floor, because he is a hungry dog and he will eat all of it :-)
He loves going for walks and he loves loves LOVES being cuddled! He would be best with someone home during the day, as I feel like he might get some separation anxiety if he was routinely alone all day. He can bark a lot from excitement when you come back home. He went to the eye doctor and was told that he could get surgery to remove the cataract- if this is something you would be interested in getting done, I can give you more information about it. Since he is still young, I think he would do well with the surgery because then he would be able to see well!
He is a very sweet, easygoing dog, and would be good even for a first-time dog owner. If you are interested or have any questions, feel free to email me.
