Come out to La Sensacion to party with a purpose in celebration of Girls Mentor Girls 2 year anniversary. Enjoy a three course meal (1:00-4:00) followed by music and dancing (4:00-8:00). Proceeds from ticket sales will be used to fund Girls Mentor Girls programming. Girls Mentor Girls is a Bronx based peer mentoring program that was founded in 2019. Girls Mentor Girls envisions a world where there is no glass ceiling for black and Latinx girls. A world in which they are empowered, inspired to empower others, and radically transform their communities. Girls Mentor Girls nurtures peer mentoring by encouraging young ladies to share experiences that are helpful to each other with an emphasis on exercising commitment, sisterhood, social skills, and self-awareness.
