Take a fun and bumpy ride through our farm, see the big pigs, laying hens and cows then get up close with the goats inside the petting area Family time is precious and finding wholesome outdoor activities can be a challenge in our digital world but we have an activity for you!!! Come to Simmons Farm, take a scenic wagon ride around our historic family farm. We will take you in our tractor drawn wagon and you will have the opportunity to view from your seat, the herd of Belted Galloway cattle, the big pigs, the egg laying hens and gorgeous views of Narragansett Bay and the surrounding area. We will make one short stop the top of the hill overlooking the bay so that you may get out for a photo and to take in the gorgeous view. The hayride will end back in the barnyard where each person will be handed a cup of grain to feed our friendly goats and dairy cows. You may gain access to the inside of the petting are where all of this years baby goats are now beautiful, friendly, lovable kids. If you prefer, you could stay outside of the fence to feed the animals, you choose which ever option is more comfortable to you. We can’t wait to see you at the farm!
