Learn the basics of constructing a tunnel book. 3-Hour Workshop Date: Saturday, October 23, 2021 Time: 9am-12pm Description: Show some love to your furry and feathered friends with fun and easy pet portraits. We'll use pictures of your very own pets to make classic silhouettes. In just a few hours you'll learn how to turn a photo into a keepsake! Tuition: $55 + $10 materials fee Materials: Bring a picture of your favorite furry friend to use as a reference for your pet silhouette. All other materials will be provided. Location: Contemporary Craft (5645 Butler St., Pittsburgh, PA 15201) COVID-19: In accordance with current CDC guidance - we are recommending all visitors wear a mask. Please note that the recommendation applies to teaching artists, resident artists, students and guests attending events taking place at CC. Cancellations and Refunds: Workshop cancellations are decided three business days before the start date. If workshops must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the entire class fee will be refunded through Eventbrite, or you may leave your workshop fee in your Contemporary Craft account for future workshops. Refund Policy: Student refund requests must be made at least three business days before a class begins. There will be a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given without three-business days notice. Processing of refunds takes approximately three weeks. About the Artist Jessica Alpern Brown is a visual artist that comes from a diverse background driven by curiosity. After starting her career as a photographer in the United States Navy, she shifted the focus of her practice to the subtractive art of papercutting. Jessica has exhibited in Pittsburgh, New York, and Barcelona and is currently represented by the Boxheart Gallery.
