Hello! My name is Tamila Salimdjanova and I am a concert pianist and piano teacher. I have graduated from Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Royal College of Music in London and currently pursuing Doctor of Musical Arts at Northwestern University. I am a laureate of many international piano competitions. I am currently living and studying in Evanston, and in the meanwhile giving lessons - from beginners to expert. Teaching is a unique and wonderful way to explore the limits of the musical experience. With the right approach and patience, it can hugely gratify and expand the worlds of both student and teacher. I have a grounding in the Russian school of pianism which allows one to be technically free and musically curious. I approach each student individually, and hope to inspire and grow with them.
