Lost my brand new phone on a trip with my kids down the San Marcos river. It’s most likely dead by now (though I’ve read some stories of them living for a while under water), but if I can have the dead one, I can get it replaced with AppleCare. Without it, I’m just out the whole price of the phone.
If anyone is good at finding stuff like this (perhaps you have a waterproof metal detector, or really good goggles, or you’ve just done this before?), I’d be extraordinarily grateful, and would be happy to talk about a cash reward.
I know pretty darn precisely where I dropped it in the river. Can send you a Google Maps pin.
