I need help with a restraining order

I've been trying to serve my ex-boyfriend a restraining order for the last month. He lives out of his car and has no permanent job. I haven't been able to serve him and I already had to file for an extension on our court date. He's not mentally stable. He's threatened suicide at least three times since we broke up and blamed me publicly each time. Today he decided to send a bunch of sexts to my other earlier ex boyfriend. He's 25, I'm 18. I can't keep doing this with him. Please pm me if you can help.
