Sixty year old very experienced guitarist looking to join or form a band. Can cover lead or rhythm. I try to learn quickly moving forward quickly. Not much of a shredder while relying to blued based riffs, lots of power chords and major and minor pentatonics. My tone goes from bluesy overdrive to a nice full on distortion. My niche is 70's and 80's, some 90's. I have reliable equipment and transportation. My approach is solid team player and attitude. Expect the same. Was once in high level corporate now very long hair and leathers. Following are a couple things I prefer not dealing with. People who don't do homework. I rather not work with beginners or open mic players or play the songs most amateur bands consider are a must. Would rather stay away from many if any complex structured songs any longer. There's far too many very fun to play 3 chord "very bookable band" songs. Not looking for bands who don't or won't play out, just for fun bands and a few beers bands. Will not deal with "know it all's" those who are lazy and unprepared or bad attitudes. This is supposed to be fun. I am 100% clean and sober and do not indulge during practice or on stage. My background is typical of the average musician from playing stages of all sizes with big names to complete unknowns. Recording, tv, and radio.
