**PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE APPLYING** We are in need of an assistant chef who: 1. Can multi-task 2. Has experience working in a food kitchen 3. Doesn't mind taking orders but can also assess situations and offer suggestions 4. Has experience cooking Caribbean Cuisines 4. Doesn't mind the hard work that comes with cooking! 5. Must have driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation. 6. Must be ready to provide three references of past supervisors and/or professors (if a recent culinary graduate or current student). This is a per-diem position for now. Eventually, as we obtain more contract, position can become permanent. Responsibilities include: 1. Food prep 2. Cooking some items on the menu (not all) 3. Packaging food as need for deliveries 4. Assist in the cleanup of the kitchen space All shifts will be 10 hours and will pay $180/shift. Please email headshot, resume and pictures of sample dishes you have prepared.
