Our childhood tortoises unfortunately need to find a new home. We are moving to a home with no grass and it's not fair to do that to them since they graze all day. They don't even eat produce they prefer grass and hay. Smooth perfect carapace since they have eaten properly for 18 years. All they need is a large water trough or pond. They cost little to no money if you have grass and weeds. Cheapest pet. They are like dinosaurs. Amazing pets to watch cruising a pasture all day. I will only be selling the tortoises to a family with proof of a 1-2 acre pasture and will allow them to dig a tunnel because their current tunnel is 12' long and 4' down. Just place a roofed dog house where ever you want them to dig and they will dig in that area they will not start digging random holes. One tortoise per home or they will fight. Breeders don't bother contacting me. I don't want them crammed in an area with a ton of tortoises and no grass. I have several sizes of females and males ranging in size from 60-250 pounds. Would like them set up before winter. There is a rehoming fee. I'm not giving them away so they can be re sold for more. I will require pics and meeting with the new family.
