It breaks my heart to post this but our sweet little friend needs to be rehomed. He’s been a good companion for two years and we got him when he was only 12 weeks, from a local bird speciality shop. We are moving and cannot bring him with us. He’s a gorgeous teal blue, very interactive and loving, extensively hand trained and currently lives with three children ages 9 to 15. He’s a smaller budgie/parakeet, not the English variety, and comes with gear/toys/perches (a large black cage perfect for his needs, and a smaller pink transportation cage, about a $200 value). He’s funny, loves water play and nibbles. He may need to be the only bird friend in your home, or be kept separate until he acclimates. He’s been solo for most of his life. It’s the upmost importance to us that he goes to a home that is loving and will care for him well. Thank you kindly.
