Please DO NOT give anyone your personal info when looking for a pet. There are NO reasons for you to give someone a copy of your Driver's license, your address, Social/SSN, references, or landlord's info. That is the type of personal info that leads to IDENTITY THEFT or HOME INVASIONS. 🧐😯 If the pet parents are worried you may not be a good fit, they can facilitate an adoption through a REPUTABLE company. IF that company chooses to run background checks or requires personal info, there needs to be LEGAL documentation stating they WILL NOT disclose the info to the pet parents. There are NO REASONS for follow up calls, home visits, drone flyovers, neighborly stops, etc. 😒😑 Please be SMART and SAFE when looking to find your new love and addition to your family. Forever homes should be forever SECURE as well ❤
