LOOKING TO START EITHER A COVER BAND OR A TRIBUTE BAND

Description

Hello fellow musicians! As the title says, I'm looking to either start a cover band or a tribute band. Start or join. Doesn't matter. A little about me... 35 years old. Been playing guitar for 20+ years. Also play other instruments but guitar is my main stay. Single parent which means my time is somewhat limited. But I can make time for the right situation. I love music. I gravitate towards rock n roll but also really love blues, punk, funk, the list is far and wide. Favorite guitar players range from Hendrix to Stevie Ray Vaughan to John Fruciante to Eric Clapton. But I love Led Zeppelin, etc. I'm willing to play whatever is put in front of me. In the last group, I was told to learn a miley cyrus track. I was reluctant, but I did it. I am in no way shape or form a fan of hers. It was a cover band and you play what the people want to hear. Part of the gig. I have great gear and reliable transportation. Would like to play once or twice a month. Practice the same too. If I were to join a tribute band...I would love to join a red hot chili peppers tribute band or ACDC, whatever. If i were to join or create a cover band, the list of covers would be very wide. Wouldn't mind restyling a song if need be to fit our image. I also want this to be a lucrative business but also be fun. Maybe get hired to play at a wedding or some kind of event. Will be tough at first but for the time being it would be for fun. Eventually someone would take notice and want to hire us for something. We can negotiate dollars then. I'm looking for like minded individuals. NOT LOOKING TO PLAY WITH ANYONE 50+. Sorry I don't mean to discriminate there but it's more enjoyable when I can relate to the people I'm playing with. I mean no disrespect with that at all. So basically 30 - 40. If you fall into that range and are interested in something like this, lets talk.
