Hi there, My name is Kristen. I'm putting this ad out because I know some folks may be having a tough time lately with housing and need some help with their pets. The reason why I'm reaching out on here is because I lost my 14 year old dog a couple of days ago due to cancer, it's been rough coming back to an empty home. I'd love to help if I can while I'm working through this grief on my own. It would be nice to help someone else in the process and have some company as well. It's a quiet home. It's just me, I'm mid 30's. Adult home with no other pets. I'm familiar with all dog breeds, my guy was a 90lb American bulldog/pit mix so I have experience with the larger and more stubborn breeds. I've fostered before with a couple of places and have references. I do live in a community where other people are close by, so the only thing that would be an issue would be incessant barking while the pet is alone. I don't want to bother my neighbors. I believe in positive reinforcement training, clicker, crate use when needed but not as punishment. I'm into running and exercising, hiking, outdoor things. It would be cool to have a buddy come along. I do have a dog walker that would be able to come by in case I'd be out for the day or for more than 4 hours. Usually I'm home but things change and I have a plan to work on that. Let me know if I can help in any way. No breed or weight issues.
