MAKE YOUR OWN UP-CYCLED MARKET BAG WITH DEBORAH DUBORD OF GOOD DEED BAGS.
Re-purpose that old table cloth or curtain you’ve been saving.
We will learn to cut out your fabric to match the size of a market bag, with handles! If you’d like it to be a smaller tote, we can do that. I will show you how they are constructed. I will then seam them up for you and return your new market bag to the Lemont Block for you to pick up at your convenience. Congratulations, you have helped to make something useful out of something that was just sitting there!
What to bring:
1.) Something of cotton fabric that you’d be proud to use as a shopping tote.
2.) Your interest in repurposing items to reduce landfill use
3.) Good scissors if you have a pair, measuring tape. I will have a few extras to borrow.
