Howdy folks, we're a three-piece original band (guitar/keys, bass, and drums) looking for another guitarist to join up. Vocal ability is a huge plus! Looking for a strong rhythm player with a large chord vocabulary and a great sense of time. If you grew up strumming along to the White Album you're halfway there already! Ability to use effects to create textures would also be cool. A couple of bands of reference / influence for this project include the Beatles, Wilco, Radiohead, Flaming Lips, Spoon, TMBG, Ben Folds, etc. etc. etc. We have three albums' worth of material and are gearing up to start playing locally. We're all adults with day jobs and families so unless something really crazy happens we're not planning on any touring or playing five times a month, but we DO want to sound really great both on recordings and live.
