Meet Frank Valdez, a Legal Aid Organizer and 2020 alumni of Global Development Studies! Frank, a 2020 grad of the Global Studies program, is currently a Youth Justice Program Organizer for the Legal Aid Justice Center. He works primarily in immigrant advocacy, and will give us a bit more detail on this as well as the path he took from UVA to get to Legal Aid. Please join us in welcoming him this Wednesday, October 13th as our 2nd guest speaker of the series! There will be coffee and bagels available as well :)
