Our event is to help families in need for Thanksgiving Tickets are not needed for this event. Sponsorship sign-up through our website only. This year our goal is to provide 160 families with the items to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. We are looking for people who are interested in sponsoring a family. The only thing you have to do is go to our website www.unity-works.org to sign up to be a sponsor. If you want to be a sponsor but unable to shop we can shop for you. The monetary donation we are asking for is $35 in which you can donate through our website. The organizations we are supporting include: For the Love of Others of Woodbridge, Manassas City Public Schools, Newport News Human Services and Community Involved Seniors of Newport News. Kim Nelson is the organizer of this event. She is the CEO and Founder of Unity Works, a Gift-Giving Organization providing birthday and holiday gifts to senior citizens and children in need. Unity Works also provide daily life essentials such as emergency food, household goods, employment assistance, resume help, computer training, and finance training.
